Overnight stay at Ibis Amsterdam City West (25.04.2027 / 26.04.2027)

Modern 3-star hotel, just 1 km from Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station and 350m from the Isolatorweg metro station. The Westerpark with art centre Fabrique des Lumieres and green walking paths is a 10 minute walk away.

After your arrival and check in, you can explore the city during the afternoon and evening.
Local 41ers from clubs in the area will be present to assist or guide you. 
By bus or metro you can easily reach the main attractions that Amsterdam is known for Anne Frank house, the Rijksmuseum, NEMO Science museum and Dam square.

After breakfast we explore the region around Amsterdam, including a few of the must-see places when visiting the Netherlands. A boat cruise through the canals of Amsterdam, the colourful Tulip fields at Lisse, a visit to the famous windmills at the Zaanse Schans and finally the fishing town of Volendam. In the late afternoon we will travel from Amsterdam to the city of Amersfoort.

Overnight stay at Fletcher Hotel Amersfoort (26.04.2027 / 27.04.2027)

After checking in at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Amersfoort and dinner we will be heading into to the historic town of Amersfoort to take part in the
traditional King's Night celebration. A nationally celebrated
birthday party in honor of King Willem Alexander you will not soon forget!

Wearing orange is highly recommended, but certainly not mandatory. 

Today we leave the bussle of the city behind to go to Giethoorn, the “Venice of the Netherlands”. We explore the village and the surrounding lakes by boat and experience King’s Day celebrations. In the afternoon we to continue tot he small village of Ees where we will stay for 2 nights at the Eeserhof (27.04.2026 / 29.04.2026 ) .

Local 41ers from 41 Club Coevorden will surprise you with fun activities. After dinner on Tuesday evening we will go on a bicycle tour of the surrounding area.

On our final day we will discover the beautiful rural province of Drenthe. Our transport will be by “Trekkertram”, a tractor pulling a passenger cart for a unique countryside experience!

Possible activiteis include:

• A visit tot he historic dolmes of Drenthe (Hunebedden)
• Take a walk among the treetops at the Boomkroonpad
• Explore the museum village of Orvelte
  
  

This day is filled with beautiful nature, interesting historical visits and a lot of fun!

After breakfast we depart for Hamburg. The drive takes approximatly 3 hours, so we will make a stop for coffee in the town of Bad Zwischenahn. We highly recommend a visit and stroll through the stunning gardens of Park der Gärten

We aim to arrive in Hamburg at around 14:00, perfectly on time to attend the 41 International World Meeting in Hamburg!
